Large shared back yard features a fire pit
Comfortably sleeps 12 people, including six upstairs and six downstairs. Upstairs, you have one king bed, one queen, one twin and a queen sofa bed; downstairs you have one queen, four twins and a queen sofa bed. Each unit has a full kitchen and full bath with tub/shower combo.
Each floor has a fully stocked kitchen that includes everything you need, including refrigerator, oven/stove, microwave, toaster and coffee maker - just bring your groceries and coffee. We'll also start you off with garbage bags and paper towels, but you may need additional ones for longer stays. There's also a propane grill on each level.
We've got you covered - literally - with towels and sheets. We also leave out a few rolls of toilet paper.
There's lots of wood around, so grab some and start a campfire - just don't cut any trees on Army Corps of Engineers property, which is indicated by the orange markings on trees and covers from there to the lake. There are two fire pits outside, so choose whichever you like or use both!
Tie up your boats (max two unless previously approved) to the private dock.
If our dock is inaccessible due to fluctuations in lake levels, we will direct you to another dock that one of our neighbors graciously allows guests to use. Please do not use the dock to the right of the home, as the owner strictly enforces the No Trespassing signage. We will provide information about the dock that you may use before your stay.
There is a sandy beach in front of the house. It's on Army Corps of Engineers property, so it's not private, but there's plenty of room to stretch out. **Please note that the beach is accessible during normal lake levels, which is about 300'. Check lake levels by visiting https://www.kerrlakeguide.com/water-level/.
We have a large parking lot to accommodate your party, but we ask that you keep it to four vehicles (with boat trailers). Please let us know if you need to bring more and we can try to accommodate. Also, please note that the parking lot is gravel and it's on a grade, so parking parallel to the home is easiest for entry/exit. Boat trailers should be backed in.
